Its lovely when something turns out even better than you imagined! When we learned that there was a possibility of using up-cycled denim for clothing Karin and I envisioned a soft up-cycled black denim coat for all seasons – with gorgeous saree silk lining. We also wanted something tailored and structured – not loose and baggy. A coat that was smart enough to take you anywhere but could be worn every day. We shared our ideas and some drawings, a sample was sent – and it was fabulous. Karin barely took it off!
Now they are here! Each coat is completely unique so we have photographed them individually.
We have called the coat the Kaveri coat – sticking with our rivers of India theme for coats and jackets.
