Conscious Apparel moss crepe hand block printed dressing gown – blue with red berries

We have collaborated with ethical fashion impact brand Nila Rubia to bring you what we hope is the perfect dressing gown: artisan traditions, sustainable textiles and ethical manufacturing. This gown is made from beautiful sustainable moss crepe. Moss crepe feels like heavy cotton. It had a great drape quality. It is a heavier dressing gown than bamboo silk or cotton.

The design has been through a few prototypes before we finally settled on the soft flowing collar, generous cross over style with an internal tie and practical details – pockets, a great length and sleeves with a cuff that can be turned up.

Bamboo is a wonderful textile with antimicrobial properties – so needs less washing – and like silk it keeps you cool in summer and warm in winter.
